Samuel is a 17-year-old young leader who supports our young Beaver scouts. Because of our volunteers, we can give young people the resilience to get through the tough times and come out stronger. Because of them, we can help young people step up, dream big and gain the skills they need for an increasingly unpredictable world. Without them we couldn’t run more than 7,000 scout groups in communities across the UK. It’s their kindness that makes the whole thing work. Volunteers are the beating heart of scouting.
